The nurse leader with a strong background in PACU, Pre-Anesthesia Testing PAT, and Same-Day-Surgery will be a welcomed addition to the Perioperative Team at this top-performing facility.
Reporting directly to the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services, the Perianesthesia Services Assistant Director will oversee 3 units including PACU Post Anesthesia Care Unit, PAT Pre-Anesthesia Testing, and the SDS Same Day Surgery Unit for this 20+ Operating Room facility.The PACU Perianesthesia Assistant Nurse Director will have the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve surgical goals and provide hands-on leadership to the perianesthesia team and ancillary staff. The PACU/PAT/SDS Assistant Nurse Director will utilize their strong leadership capabilities to oversee and assist staff, ensuring compliance with perianesthesia policies and procedures. A motivated and energetic team will support the Perianesthesia Assistant Nurse Director to provide patients with the best surgical care in Eastern Texas.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree BSN, Active TX State Registered Nursing License, 5+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience within the acute care setting in PACU, Phase II Recovery, Same-Day-Surgery, ICU, Emergency, and/or Cath Lab.
