The ideal Night Shift Observation Unit RN will have at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience with their Associates Degree or BSN. Additionally, the Night Shift Observation Unit RN will hold or be willing to obtain their Compact or Tennessee RN license prior to starting.
Responsibilities of the Night Shift Observation Unit RN will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the observation department. Additionally, the Night Shift Observation Unit RN will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.
