Join the Pulmonary team working in their step down unit. This individual will work the night shift. Responsibilities of the Pulmonary Step Down Registered Nurse will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the department. Additionally, the Pulmonary Step Down unit will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans. Ideally, the Pulmonary Step Down Nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their Compact or Tennessee RN license, and have at least 1 year of direct patient care experience in an acute care step down unit.
