The Chief Operating Officer COO will provide overall leadership and direction for the acute care hospital operations to deliver the highest quality and cost effective healthcare within a fully integrated delivery system. In partnership with physician leaders within the healthcare system, the COO Chief Operating Officer will be accountable for identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize operational performance, physician alignment, patient experience, financial performance, and provider and staff engagement.
The COO Chief Operating Officer will execute system strategies that reflect shared priorities for clinical effectiveness and financial performance. The Chief Operating Officer COO will effectively manage the overall cost structure through the development of effective support management functions and create efficiencies in systems and processes through utilization of continuous improvement processes to ensure effective operations.
The Chief Operating Officer COO will serve as a member of the executive leadership team working cooperatively with team members on the development, implementation and evaluation of the group practice delivery system. In collaboration with senior leadership, the COO will refine and executes the overall strategy of the clinics, medical groups and acute care hospital, and strengthens/aligns the business and clinical objectives across the continuum, positioning the health system and medical groups.
