Nestled within the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, this 150+ bed short-term acute care hospital offers a broad range of medical services to patients residing in the surrounding communities, including Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Critical Care, Emergency Services, Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiovascular Services, as well as Women’s and Children’s Services. This hospital and trauma center has also achieved accreditation by the Joint Commission.
Working in close collaboration with and reporting directly to the Executive Director of Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Manager will become responsible for oversight and management of the inpatient pharmacy department. The Inpatient Pharmacy Services Manager will be a multitasker, working alongside a strong pharmacy services team while also managing a number of operational components including hiring, payroll, time off, and employee evaluations.
The Pharmacy Manager Acute Care Hospital will enjoy a desirable Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule with some flexibility. Requirements for this role include: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, 3-5 years of acute care pharmacy experience, + current Pharmacy license in the State of North Carolina.
