A reputable hospital in North Carolina is actively seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position where the Critical Care RN will be a direct-hire employee of the health system. There are day shift and night shift openings available, working either a 4-10 or 3-12 schedule.

The Registered Nurse Critical Care will work for a large, 400+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. Responsibilities of the RN Critical Care ICU will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Critical Care department, including ICU, MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, or CCU. Additionally, the Critical Care RN will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.
Ideally, the Critical Care nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their North Carolina or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have at least 1 year of direct patient care experience working within a critical care unit.
