The Surgery PACU Nurse will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing team while caring for patients both pre-operatively and post-operative. The Surgery PACU Nurse will report to the Director of Surgical Services. There will also be multiple Charge Nurses and Supervisor RN’s who are able to provide assistance with any issues that arise. This Registered Nurse will have knowledge of surgical services and working in the operating room and PACU in order to individually assess, diagnose, and implement care plans for each patient. This Surgery PACU Nurse will attain competency and knowledge that reflects current nursing practice guidelines, rules, and regulations. Working alongside a team of experienced and engaged nurses, the Surgery PACU Nurse will be sure to gain lots of knowledge and support while providing optimal patient care.
