The Critical Care Unit CCU Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for supervising staff and the operation and overall flow of the unit on his/her designated shift and will be the role model for all staff. The Intensive Care Unit ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for coordinating unit schedules and staff assignments and participating in the performance appraisal process.
The ICU Intensive Care Unit Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring staff meet the approved Standards of Practice, for managing assigned personnel and unit activities and for promoting cooperative working relationships with physicians and other health care providers. Provides patient care as needed. The Critical Care Unit CCU Assistant Nurse Manager will be a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
The Intensive Care Unit ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will be the clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served. The Intensive Care Unit ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the unit's standard of care. Critical Care Unit CCU Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for planning, education, and resource management as it relates to specialty area. Intensive Care Unit ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will utilize nursing skills to determine the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care and educational needs of the patient/family/significant other to develop, implement and revise the plan of care.
