This short-term acute care Level II Trauma Center is seeking a motivated Nurse Director of Critical Care Services to help boost their Intensive Care Team the next level! The Critical Care Nurse Director will oversee a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit consisting of Registered Nurses, many of which have their CCRN Certification, Support Staff, Clinical Supervisors, Charge RNs, and other skilled healthcare professionals. The Critical Care Nurse Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be responsible for building and developing a new team, day-to-day clinical operations, resource management, budgetary oversight, collaboration with other department leaders, and participating in direct care as needed to ensure the highest level of patient care is delivered. Prior leadership experience in the Critical Care Services with an emphasis on education will make for quick interviews!
Qualifications for the ideal Director of Critical Care include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Masters preferred, prior leadership experience in critical care services, and a valid Registered Nursing License.
