A wonderful new opportunity is now available at a Central Coastal California non profit community hospital actively seeking a Nurse House Supervisor.
The House RN Supervisor will work under the administrative direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, and will provide direction, supervision, and coordinates all patient care activities and functions of the hospital on the assigned shift to ensure safe, quality patient care.
The Administrative RN Supervisor will maintain operational aspects of the patient care units in the absence of Department Managers / Nurse Managers during assigned shift. The House RN Supervisor will contribute to nursing and hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, education and research efforts.
The Administrative House Supervisor will work throughout the hospital, often experiencing a variety of units, and interacting with a very diverse group of patients. The Administrative House Supervisor will ensure all policies and procedures are followed accurately, and all departments are providing the highest level of care.
The Medical Center is very busy, and annually sees over 25,000 emergency room visits, performs 1,000 inpatient and 1,500 outpatient surgical procedures, and delivers 700 newborns.
