Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN - Home Health

We are hiring for a part time position, working 10 hour shifts, with one of our most valued clients in the Metro Detroit & Kalamazoo areas! This is a highly reputable, well-established client. Ideal candidates are local, have an active Michigan certification, and a minimum of 6 months of recent experience as an LPN. If you are comfortable working in a home-health position and driving a company vehicle, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay Rates:
$960 - $1,080 / Weekly Gross
$32 - $36 / Hourly
30 hours / Week

MORE ABOUT THE LPN POSITION:

1. Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations
2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of nursing care and current clinical practice, treatments and interventions, specific to position specialty.
3. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
4. Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals.
5. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations.
7. Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
8. Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, according to position setting.
9. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
10. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
11. Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language
12. Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN:

1. 6-12 months recent supervised LPN experience
2. Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
3. Current CPR/BLS certification & TB test
4. Current LPN license or license eligible in the state of employment.
5. Willingness to drive a company vehicle within a 1 mile radius of facility site
