We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic
Commercial Alarm Installation Manager. This position will be centralized in Lancaster, PA with occasional travel to our Matawan, NJ office.
***Offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
($1,000 in first paycheck and $1,500 following 3 months of employment.)
What you’ll do:
- Plans, implements, and manages the activities of the installation technicians.
- Ensures familiarity and training of product installation skills.
- Acts as a liaison to resolve problems professionally and effectively at customer sites.
- Ensures timely and accurate completion of billing and paperwork.
- Formulates a sound business plan to provide cost efficient service for targeted sales growth in accordance with established plan and market share targets.
- Works with Regional Install Service Manager to meet profitability goals.
- Communicates current installation policies, procedures, techniques, demonstration of equipment, new products and services, sales promotions and area advertising.
- Works closely with sales team to help develop low installation costs and recommend proper and varied applications of systems.
- Establishes and maintains a high level of quality and timely installation to customers for maximum retention.
- Develops and maintains installation technician team through recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching techniques.
- Tracks and records daily/monthly/quarterly installation activity to include individual installers' efforts and results.
- Serves as the primary contact for market installation techs and help provide input and feedback related to any Installation issues.
- Educates and enforces NFPA, National Electric Code, Manufacturers’ Instructions, Safety Policies and Procedures with personnel.
- Conducts meetings on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Responsible for ensuring installation technician vehicles are properly maintained.
- Ensures accuracy of timesheets for payroll, processes PTO requests, applies the company discipline policy, and grants compensation increases to direct reports.
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Manager and/or Senior Leadership Team.
What you bring to the table:
- Previous management experience, managing a team of at least 5 technicians.
- Understanding of low voltage electronic systems, Access, Fire, Intrusion, and VST.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
- Must possess a willingness to learn in an ever-changing industry.
- Willingness to learn and understand IT and network infrastructure.
- Knowledge and experience with hand tools and various power tools.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must strive to work independently, with little or no supervision while still providing a team-oriented attitude.
- Must maintain proper dress code and appearance.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and willing to travel.
- Must pass an extensive background check and drug screening process.
- Must be able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
