Data Entry Specialist

We are currently seeking a determined and dynamicData Entry Specialist. (*We are only seeking candidates who reside in the Eastern Time Zone.)

What you’ll do:

In this role, you are comfortable:

• Support Brinks Home Security dealer network by processing new install, termination and data change requests timely and accurately
• Process internal department requests that originate from database action queues, to accurately update information on customer accounts
• Research and verify police, fire, medical and guard response jurisdiction for customer accounts
• Answer dealer and internal calls related to data changes
• Verify all requests are compliant with Brinks Home Security and Alarm Industry standards
• Process large scale data change requests resulting from bulk account acquisitions
• Work with internal departments to research procedures, identify data integrity gaps and make recommendations to solve persistent issues
• Participate in testing and provide feedback on procedure and application enhancements
• Organize, file, and distribute forms received via fax, email, mail and phone to maintain steady workflow
• Prepare dealer correspondence and communications
• Use exception reporting to validate account changes

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to work independently and resolve medium to complex tasks with minimal supervision

• Excellent written and oral communication

• Excellent attendance and performance records

• Type Speed 50 WPM without errors

• Knowledge of alarm industry preferred

• One year experience in a data entry role required

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
