About the Role
Pediatric Day Health Care Centers are bright, fun places built especially for children with complex medical needs. We provide a safe, caring environment for children up to age eight to receive skilled nursing care and therapies while playing and interacting with their peers.We are currently hiring a full time Nursing Supervisor to join our amazing team and kiddos. A Day at the Center
Your morning begins with staff assignments to our classrooms, followed by quality assurance nursing documentation review. From there you will spend the morning greeting families and children while, engaging with staff in classroom activities.
Throughout the day you will assist staff (nurses and aides) with nursing interventions and daily activities. Every day is a new adventure where you might organize and participate in a fall carnival or a petting zoo. In addition to overseeing the care provided you will educate the staff and families regarding the child’s medical needs while working with their physicians on orders. Assist with developing the child’s plan of treatment, nursing care plans, tracking infections, and chart audits.
