The Opportunity
Our location in Lake County, IL, currently has an opportunity for a Finance Supervisor – Abbott Nutrition International (ANI). This team member is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis services to ANI HQ Commercial & Finance management, supporting our Areas/Affiliates on all FP&A and Monthly Actuals Reporting processes.
This role is integral to the preparation and review of Plan, quarterly LBEs (Latest Best Estimate), and Confirmation, as well as the monthly close process to understand business performance. The role will also support the budgeting process for the ANI HQ Marketing teams. Position will be expected to identify risks/opportunities and propose recommendations/solutions to issues, while completing a wide range of financial services and deliverables and assess reasonableness/relevance of financial assumptions with limited supervision.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Consolidation and financial review of Area/Key Affiliate quarterly rolling LBE/confirmation and monthly close submissions, to provide timely identification and communication on any anomalies, omissions or unexpected trends to ANI Sr Leadership team.
- Provide analytical/consolidation support for both the P&L and balance sheet, including providing succinct and relevant commentary on a timely basis to multiple levels of Area & Division management.
- Provide budgeting/analytical support to the ANI Marketing teams. Perform monthly/quarterly variance analysis and produce key insights on departmental spending.
- Active engagement with Areas to learn how they operate and understand their key issues.
- Provide timely and consistent support to ANI commercial Areas on day-to-day issues to provide resolution for items including HOST, CCI/HFM technical problems, planning questions, etc.
- Prepare backup schedules to assist finance and commercial management in decision-making process, including brand profitability, price/volume/mix analytics.
- Understand exchange rate movements and associated P&L impacts.
- Work with AN Supply Chain to understand sourcing changes and annual manufacturing cost change processes.
- Engage with corporate transfer pricing and TCGM teams to align annual transfer prices and TCGM factors for affiliates.
- Develop and implement solutions for business process improvements, which meet the needs of the financial planning and reporting requirements and supports the division’s growth.
- Complete other ad-hoc analysis as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance or accounting.
- 5–7 years of relevant, progressive finance experience with strong analytical, time management and people skills. Previous experience supporting a commercial team is a plus.
Preferred
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with all levels of management, and the ability to interpret and facilitate understanding of data to key stakeholders, both inside and outside of finance
- Must be proficient in Excel. Proficiency in HFM/CCI and Host Analytics is a plus.
- Ability to problem solve, operate independently as well as within a team, and work under challenging time constraints.
- Ability to develop recommendations and implement efficient tools and processes to support the growth of the business.

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 – $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
