The Opportunity
This position works out of our Sylmar, CA or Sunnyvale, CA location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
Responsible for planning and supervising the resources and processes required for successful implementation of Abbott Integrated Systems. Involved in the management of activities to ensure that scope and project plans are implemented in accordance with Abbott project methodologies, through proposal and project start up, execution and completion. The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day implementation and representing Abbott on status reports and in meetings. This position requires exemplary motivation, communication, and organization skills.
What You’ll Work On
• Project Guidelines and Communication-represents Abbott as the primary point of contact, interacting with the Customer to ensure that project objectives, schedules, and deliverables are established and met.
• Activities include consulting with key stakeholders (Customer, Contractor, and Vendors) to develop project requirements, scope, and execute on product installation and final project delivery.
• Reports and communicates project status and stage performance by preparing standard reports and participating in departmental and cross-functional project status reviews.
• Prepares project plans and in accordance with established budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Project Management and Analysis--overall execution of the project including:
• Product configuration and installation requirements
• Project scope definition
• Project planning; milestones, activities and schedules
• Quality management
• Contingency planning and change management
• Project scheduling and coordination
• Liaison with product divisions on parallel project streams
• Directs project execution by tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
• Determines needed resources for project conduct and completion; ensures appropriate staffing to accomplish project goals within budget.
• Identifies critical project success factors for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitors project status, identifies problems and makes recommendations for resolution.
• Manages proper input of project data and assures quality and timeliness of data collection.
• Participates in development and review of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, work instructions, and intra-departmental procedures.
• Manage multiple implementations in parallel
• Analyzes all protocol clarifications/revision trends and makes proper recommendations for process improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in similar field
• 4 years Project Manager experience

The base pay for this position is $83,600.00 – $167,200.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
