What you'll do...Walmart's Sales Tax Team plays a critical role in the company's financial operations, focusing on both compliance and operational aspects of US sales tax. As a Fortune 1 market leader, Walmart is committed to transforming its end-to-end tax calculation system and processes, embarking on a multi-year journey to centralize and modernize their tax engine and compliance reporting. The team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of transaction taxes charged to customers and members across Walmart and Sam's Club domestic operations. With an annual responsibility of reporting and remitting over $21 billion in transactional taxes across thousands of jurisdictions, the Sales Tax Team also provides valuable insights to key tax policy stakeholders.As part of this dynamic team, members have the unique opportunity to contribute to a once-in-career transformation journey and influence how sales tax is managed at Walmart.
