Responsibilities:
Nutrition Services Manager RD
A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in the managing of the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience. This position works closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Completing nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
- Reviewing monthly and weekly weights to determine those residents which have had a significant change.
- Completing nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/ gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
- Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed.
- Consulting with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.
Qualified applicants are required to have the following:
- Possess a minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
- State certification in food service sanitation is required.
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Asociation is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university is required.
- Knowledge of HACCP preferred.
Pay Range: USD $86,793.00 - USD $108,476.00 /Yr.
