Electrification Project Manager
Are you ready to help move us forward? UTA is looking for an Electrification Project Manager!
You will oversee all aspects of electrification, including technology research, system design, equipment evaluation, performance monitoring, and more. You will manage multiple projects concurrently, each valued up to and over $20 million. You will lead and provide technical expertise in creating and reviewing project design criteria and design activities.
Pay Range: $99,000 to $123,500
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Field. A masters’ degree is preferred but not required.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License, or currently pursuing a PE license.
- Seven years of progressively more responsible experience in design review, maintenance, testing, and implementation of rail systems project management and design.
- Design management experience to include budgeting, scheduling, change order implementation, and contract management experience.
- Five years of electrical engineering experience in any field.
- Preference will be given to candidates whose electrical engineering experience is specifically related to transit systems, traction power, overhead catenary systems, or related work.
- Demonstrated experience in stray current mitigation and corrosion control on an active light rail system is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Traction Power Substations (TPSS), and Overhead Catenary System industry procedures and industry trends, preferred but not required.
- Electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems theory for TPSS, and Overhead Catenary Systems, is preferred but not required.
