JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Senior Database Administrators for Pleasant Prairie, WI location.

• Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and other database objects.

• Optimize database performance through several techniques, including indexing, query optimization, and database design.

• Participate in periodic High Availability/Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems.

• Proactively monitor database performance and capacity of available resources.

• Provide day-to-day support for databases and database applications.

• Upgrade and patch database management systems.

• Technical Environment: Database design, build, configuration, implementation, and maintenance; installation, fix pack and version upgrades; develop data archiving, data purging, data partitioning, data masking and automated data refresh solutions; Database performance and SQL tuning; SQL replication; Develop and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies; Support data center switch activities; DB2 LUW; Oracle; RHEL; Shell Scripting; Service Now; IBM data studio; BMC ctrl-M; Nagios.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• *Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or any Engineering field or a related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or as database administrator or with database administration required.

• Required Skills: Database design, build, configuration, implementation, and maintenance; installation, fix pack and version upgrades; develop data archiving, data purging, data partitioning, data masking and automated data refresh solutions; Database performance and SQL tuning; SQL replication; Develop and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies; Support data center switch activities; DB2 LUW; Oracle; RHEL; Shell Scripting; Service Now; IBM data studio; BMC ctrl-M; Nagios.

• (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or any Engineering field or a related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or as database administrator or with database administration also acceptable).
