Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required.
• 12 months of travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:
Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).
Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).
No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.
Weekend Rotate on 1 of 4 wks. No Calls.
Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, approximately 2-3 shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend rotation working 7a-3:30p and Call 3p-11:30p 1 of 4 weeks - No Night Call.
Call Requirement: Surg Techs are expected to take Call weekends and weekday Eve Call.
Level II Trauma; complex community setting.
Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1.
Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric.
Census: approximately 30 - 40 patients per day.
Floating Required: No.
Surg Techs do not perform any cardiac monitoring, so no EKG or Telemetry required.
