What You'll Do:
- Design and implement test frameworks for a material handling mobile robot. This will involve dynamic simulation in addition to the development of test software to control real hardware.
- Support system testing of systems, subsystems and components
- System level debug of hardware/software components for mobile robot platform
- Troubleshoot system problems in production or design by investigating issues related to product performance or production difficulties.
- Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum based environment.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelors + 2 years experience in Robotics, Electrical, Systems or Computer Engineering OR recent Master's Grad
- Experience with motion control equipment, material handling systems, motors, sensors, vision systems and/or communications protocols highly desirable.
- Programming experience in Python/Bash/Linux/LabVIEW.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks with nominal direction.
- Fluency on statistics for data analysis and quality control practices.
- Very hands-on. This is a "roll-up-your-sleeves" position.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
