Fibonacci is a curious, energetic, extroverted, healthy 8-year-old. He likes to play video games, make music, read, build spaceships out of any available material, ride bikes, climb, and make new friends. He's mostly indoorsy but he enjoys outdoor adventures too. He is homeschooled. He lives in Florida half-time and Michigan half-time. While in Michigan, he does more curricular book work. While in Florida, he does more hands-on exploration, live music, dance, physical play, etc.
Come into his world during the day and help him with his open-ended curiosity. Help him stay healthy by eating good foods and getting enough exercise. Take him to playgrounds, gyms, science museums. Sometimes to MPLP other school co-op activities. Help around the house - meals, some light cleaning, laundry, and organization.
We're in South St. Pete in a very walkable / bikeable neighborhood. We go to the Saturday Market every Saturday, and most of our foods comes from there (Notch is mostly vegetarian). He will be in Florida from around Jan 24 to the last week of February, then we'll be traveling. So this is really just four weeks for now. If it goes well, I'd like to hire again for the spring when he returns.
