A very sweet family residing in Pacific Heights, San Francisco is seeking a full-time live-out professional career nanny for their two young children, aged 2.5-years-old and 8-months-old. The schedule will be Monday through Friday with standard hours of 8:15am until 6:15pm, with occasional evening coverage. The toddler attends preschool 9am-11:30am Monday through Friday during the school year. The hours will be between 40-50 per week, but usually at 50 hours per week with overtime paid.
The professional nanny profile they are seeking is child development/education-focused, someone who understands developmental milestones, and “speaks kid”. Experience with childhood development/early childhood education is sought for this role; formal education in these fields is a bonus, but to the family, hefty experience in these areas from working with children trumps education. The nanny must have 10+ years of experience working with children
The job duties for this role include preschool drop-offs and pick-ups (car provided by family), classes/activities transportation and oversight (music, dance, gymnastics, and soccer are examples of activities), active and engaged play-time with the children, taking the children for other activities and to the playground on a regular basis, light household duties.
