This position is primarily responsible for providing HR Compliance services and counsel, in accordance with Service Level Agreements, to HRSS, employees, managers and Human Resources. Analyze each task assigned and identify areas for standardization and process improvement and opportunities for training. Complete compliance related duties in accordance with company policy or laws. Collaborate with COEs to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution. We are looking for year-round intern. The selected candidate must be available to work for 24-28 hours a week year-round.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Compliance Administration:
- Analyze tasks assigned, redefine as needed and document each in an SOP. Update SOPs as processes change.
- Actively audit and monitor data in HRSS systems to ensure integrity relative to all areas supported
- Work with internal SW teams to ensure system feeds and requirements are accurate and compliant
- Work with appropriate HRSS teams to make updates or corrections as needed
- Assist with the completion of all state and local compliance initiatives related to HRSS responsibilities
- Complete ad hoc requests for other compliance related audits and support
- Assist with other Shared Services and Compliance initiatives as requested
- Compliance auditing on work structure including department, location, job tittle and exempt status and working with appropriate teams to make updates and help understand impact.
- Completion of variety of DOL (Department of Labor) and BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) requests.
- Complete CFATS audits and ensure action is taken in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular internal data audits
- Standardization and Process Improvement:
- Analyze tasks identify process improvements. Update SOP’s as processes and business needs change.
- Work with Employee Relations to ensure compliance in all areas related to AAP’s and identify and address improvement areas across the divisions in their current processes. Implement changes to address these improvement areas.
- Identify employees impacted by changes in local, state, or federal laws and take action as appropriate
- Assist local HR with making necessary updates in HRIS to ensure compliance with new laws
- Partner with appropriate departments when additional steps outside of HRIS are needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four year college or university at the time of the internship
- Must have sophomore, junior, or senior class standing
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8

Preferred:
- Compliance experience
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics or HR
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
