Small Machine Operator – 2nd shift

Responsible for operating small bindery equipment within predetermined time frames.   Learn to setup, run, and maintain all small bindery equipment as assigned, including Smythe sewer, Moffett sewer, side sewer, drills, shrink wrap, end sheet maker, horizon, board cutter, box maker and mechanical binding. 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more of experience on similar equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Accurately detail issues to bindery supervisor/lead for resolutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals. 

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Willing to work all shifts.
• Safety toe shoes required.
• Hearing protection required.
