Job Summary This role is identified as a leader and shall be responsible to collaborate with Sanford Executive Leadership, Administration and the Department Leadership to develop and coordinate overall strategy for the precision medicine at Sanford Health. Collaborate with institutional leadership to develop and strengthen the Imagenetics program to meet the future needs of the organization. Create and sustain a system-level, "big picture" focus on multimodal use of DNA sequencing data, including expansion of the clinical use of genomic data. Leverage positive influence as a leader within the broader organizational structure. Responsible for establishing medical strategic and operational goals, processes, and services. Foster an integrated approach to providing support for the three key areas of Imagenetics: clinical care, education and research. Medical school graduate. Must have completed an American Medical Association (AMA) residency and be certified, or eligible for certification, by the appropriate American Board of Specialties. Sufficient experience to maintain a clinical practice. Current licensure in the state of practice. Must also be drug enforcement administration (DEA) certified in the state of practice. Certification by the appropriate American Board of Specialties within the first three years of employment is required and must be maintained. Must continue to meet the criteria for medical staff appointment and reappointment at Sanford Medical Center.
