Position Purpose: Rosecrance is one of the top providers of mobile crisis response services in Illinois. This position functions as a member of the MCR multidisciplinary service team which provides behavioral health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. The FSP will provide support and advocacy on behalf of clients and their families. The role of the FSP is to work to link clients to community resources, work with community providers to develop relationships for further services and assist clients with finding residential services.

- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, or Family Therapy or related field, Master's preferred.
- Experience in mental health treatment
- Able to conduct individual, group and family counseling sessions
- Provide case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials
- Starting rate for Bachelors - $21.11/hour
- Starting rate for Masters - $24.44/hour
- Additional compensation in addition to base pay:
- 2nd shift differential - $1.00/hr
- On-call hours
- Overtime pay
- Holiday pay
- Incentive bonuses available:
- $200 per quarter for staff that complete more than 30 pre-hospitalization screens per quarter
- $1000 retention bonus paid every 6 months (prorated first payment based on full months of employment)
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours may be required to meet company needs.
- Provide orientation, information and link families to community resources that will help cope with crisis.
- Assist families in completing program applications.
- Assist families in utilizing grant funds assigned to each youth including finding community resources for clients for stabilization.
- Provide clinical services to client and families which include weekly check-ins with community FSP clients, and monthly check-ins for residentially placed clients.
- Assist families in applying for residential placements.
- Apply to residential placements for clients.
- Participate in clinical staffing’s for clients within residential facilities
- Write pre / prior authorizations for services utilized within program services
- Write/submit billing statements for delivered program services
- Complete/submit assessment and treatment plans per state rules, guidelines and accreditations.
- Attend individual supervision meetings.
- Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties and activities as assigned.
- Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
