Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Marketing, Business or related field
- Veteran of the U.S. military preferred or extensive experience as a first responder
- Experience in marketing, public relations, and/or behavioral health treatment
- Ability to present and coordinate seminars, trainings, and lectures for referral sources and community resources
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to interact with referral sources)
- Travel frequency and duration may vary based on project and client requirements
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work within a customer relations management tool
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Windows-based computer experience or training
- Valid driver’s license
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist veterans to learn more about their care options through the VA.
- Facilitate patient education around VAMC services and the VA’s Community Care Network care access.
- Serving the needs of the veteran community, responsible for identifying and developing partnerships with veteran organizations, state and local government entities, and other organizations to strengthen relationships that will support the mission of the VAMC’s, as well as their Community Care Network (CCN) to better serve veterans
- Thorough understanding and firm knowledge of Rosecrance’s treatment settings and ability to use the knowledge and understanding to build relationships and increase patient referrals.
- Create and sustain positive impressions and relationships with referral professionals, optimizing Rosecrance messages and methods.
- Plan and organize daily activities to optimize the use of time and maximize the achievement of organization’s strategic goals for the veteran segment.
- Work collaboratively with the Access team and other departments to meet all the organization’s strategic goals.
- Assist in design and implementation of successful marketing campaigns for the veteran treatment segment.
- Ability to record and analyze progress, areas of opportunity, and needs with all stakeholders.
- Organize promotional activities to enhance engagement with Veteran Service Organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including but not limited to accurate and timely reporting, documentation of activities, response to emails, phone calls or other messages.
- Must have excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and other forms of technology.
- Ability to work with the Company’s electronic medical record.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to adhere to all organization compliance policies and procedures (including patient HIPAA rights) as written or verbally communicated.
- Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday - Friday
Work Location: Remote work possible after initial training period - must be located in Illinois
