Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED and one year of addiction treatment experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Ability to coordinate and motivate staff to achieve recovery orientated expectations.
• Ability to motivate and problem solve with staff.
• Ability to work with persons from diverse backgrounds and personalities.
• Skills to adapt verbal and written communication to the language style of the client and their family.
• Good keyboarding skills and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new computer programs easily.
• Positive demeanor, empathetic and calm.
• Optimistic, Highly organized, flexible, enthusiastic and outgoing
• CPR training or complete within three months
• Valid Illinois driver’s license

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Work hours prescribed by the Administrator and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
2. Ensure compliance with schedules at each unit.
3. Coordinate treatment activities as appropriate between sites and units.
4. Assist scheduled staff with any behavioral occurrences.
5. Act as point person for communication with on-call staff.
6. Act as a liaison to supervisors on client and staffing issues.
7. Provide staff mentoring and feedback.
8. Supervise and manage the behavior of the clients and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
9. Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with SUPR, TJC and Medicaid regulations.
10. Read all logs and obtain pertinent information from staff of previous shifts, counselors, etc.
11. Ensure accuracy of Program/Unit Census and confirmation of Bed Capacity
12. Oversee the neatness of the unit and the proper use of the equipment and supplies and inform the proper person when supplies or repairs are indicated.
13. Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
14. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
15. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
16. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
17. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; 4:00pm - 12:00am
