Industry leading flexible packaging company seeking an electro-mechanical technician to join our talented maintenance staff at our White House, TN facility. In this role, you would primarily be responsible for responding to trouble calls on industrial equipment, such as, extruders, rewinders, printing presses, and bag machines, as well as support equipment like chillers, air compressors, stretch wrappers, etc.

WORK SCHEDULE: 12hr Days/ 7am - 7pm/ Mon-Thur (rotating) with the option to work Fri

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Document technical information through descriptive writing, sketches/diagrams, mathematical expression, computation, and graphs.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and fluid measurements by properly selecting tools and test equipment.
- Perform electrical/mechanical assembly/disassembly, repair, or calibrate components by properly selecting tools and equipment and following procedures.
- Understand the overall operation and control of machines.
- Understand the basic fastening skills related to machine fabrication and assembly requirements.
- Apply electrical skills to troubleshoot control and operator panels.
- Apply programming languages to the control of single programmable controllers and industrial networks.
- Other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills, qualifications, and abilities:
- Associate degree in electro-mechanical technology, automation, or related field of study or an electrical Journeyman’s card.
- Able to work a 12-hour rotating day shift (7am - 7pm)
- MUST have STRONG Electrical skills
- Experience troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment.
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and other control systems.
- Understand and apply knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with motors, transformers, wiring, relays, machine controls, switches, controllers, transmitters, calibrations, sensors, etc.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Positive attitude.
