Overview:
Compensation/Benefits
- $18.08-$29.53/hr based on previous background.
- Evening differential $2.00/HR.
- Night differential $2.50/hr.
- Weekend differential $2.50/hr.
- PRN differential $2.50/hr.
Our Unit is a 28 bed surgical unit that takes care of wide variety of patients. We provide training for medical-surgical, Telemetry, & Neurosurgery. We work with interdisciplinary team of medical professionals who strive to always deliver and compassionate care to our patients. 3NW has great teamwork atmosphere and a wonderful place to work, learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- The LPN will perform a variety of unit based functions under the supervision of RN.
- Responsibilities include, reviewing and clarifying physician orders, scheduling patients for the infusion center, receiving critical lab results,
- administering medications and fluids through various routes, monitoring patient responses during infusion therapy,
- maintain accurate records related to the infusion center.
- The LPN should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Education
- Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Experience
- Prefer previous hospital experience.
- Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary.
- If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance.
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification
- Current Oklahoma State LPN License or active Multistate LPN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training for duration of employment.
