Overview:
Compensation / Benefits
- $19.56-$31.94/hr. based on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $2.00/hr.
- Night differential $2.50/hr.
- Weekend differential $2.50/hr.

LDR is a 16-bed unit with a 6-bed OBED, 4 antenatal testing rooms and 2 c/section suites. The OBED is staffed by a nurse and an OB Hospitalist 24/7. LDR participates in AIM initiatives, PPH protocols with QBL, Severe HTN protocols, as well as multiple other process improvement initiatives. We have a charge nurse each shift to coordinate care. Daily safety huddles and bedside shift report are an important part of our unit culture. We closely follow AWHONN staffing guidelines for safe patient care. Norman Regional has a residency program.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure.
- Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.
Qualifications:
Education
- Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology preferred, or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
Experience
- Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
- National Certification is highly preferred.
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure/Certification:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
- If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification.
- Current Oklahoma LPN license required, if applicable.
