We’re looking for a Community Relations Officer to join our team!
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a community relations plan to engage and attract interest in Mosaic’s mission and services.

What you’ll do:
- Build partnerships within agencies, conduct coaching and guidance for team leaders and volunteer teams on sustainable fundraising processes, procedures and best practices
- Assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for fundraising within the agencies
- Develop tailored plans that build on the current model, including cultivation, customer relationship management programs and the acknowledgement process
- Attend agency meetings and events, including team meetings, Discover the Possibilities, Partners in Possibilities, CEO Golden Hours, feel good events and other programs to provide feedback
- Provide leadership and plan meetings for community relations officers and resource development officers for all aspects of sustainable fundraising
- Assist with agency sustainable fundraising assessments and plans for success
- Provide on-site training for new team leaders
- Provide on-site assistance when there are vacant community relations or resource development positions at the agencies
- Engage and collaborate with development officers and the Mission Advancement Department
You should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
- Minimum four years in development or community relations management experience required
- Proven success in utilizing the Benevon® model for sustainable fundraising required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about your timelines, challenges, and questions
- A resourceful and solution-oriented mindset
