Job SummaryResponsible for owning strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs that support Memorial Hermann's Talent & Organizational Development and Learning (OD&L) Center of Excellence. This includes development of the overall program strategy as well as tactically delivering on program objectives. The role will own end-to-end project, change, and budget management of assigned programs including development of KPI reporting, providing visibility of status, milestones, and performance across all projects related to Talent & Engagement. Reports to the Director of Talent & Engagement.
Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field from an accredited institution required. Master's Degree preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Certified practitioner of one or multiple of the following assessments is preferred: 360s, Hogan, Birkman, DiSC, StrengthsFinder
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in program management in the areas of talent, learning, leadership development, change management, and/or organizational behavior.
- Customer service focused leveraging human-centered and agile design approaches.
- Demonstrates creativity, thought leadership, and problem solving to advance and improve program areas.
- Ability to demonstrate urgency, responsiveness and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and facilitate presentations to executive audiences.
- Proven project management skills, attention to detail, ability to influence others, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities and provide thoughtful change leadership.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leads enterprise-wide Talent Review, Succession Planning, and Performance Management programs including designing and developing the processes, tools, and technology (Workday).
- Manages the leadership assessment, simulation, coaching, and executive and physician leadership development programs.
- Partners with operational leaders, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders to continuously review talent action and succession plans throughout the calendar year.
- Conducts organizational-level needs assessments to determine talent readiness as well as current and future state gaps.
- Collects end-user and leader feedback to consistently fine-tune talent management solutions, including communications, systems, content, and overall experience.
- Leads the annual employee engagement survey process to gain insight and identify opportunities for improvement. Shares data, feedback and initiatives with leadership and key stakeholders.
- Facilitates leadership development and training program in both virtual and traditional classroom settings in a highly interactive and engaging manner.
- Collaborates with the Instructional Design team and external vendors to develop and increase program offerings.
- Utilizes Cornerstone (LMS) to manage courses/deliver; this includes, but is not limited to, setting up sessions, establishing email content and cadence, and managing rosters.
- Develops and delivers robust training and development solutions for high-potential talent.
- Consults with HR Business Partners and leaders to identify the right talent solutions to meet their needs and achieve the right outcomes.
- Manages vendor relationships as needed.
- Develops and implements coaching and mentoring solutions.
- Identifies and partners with coaching network to support onboarding and development of executive talent.
- Manages and supports the right assessment solutions to identify talent and leadership needs.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
