Graduation from an accredited program of Practical Nursing Required1-2 years Recent clinical experience in an acute care setting Required PreferredLPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Valid LPN license in the District of Columbia, Maryland or any combination as required based on work location(s) Upon Hire Required and CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary ResuscitationVerbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.Professional care provider who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge. In collaboration with the patient and family provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team.
