Job Summary and Qualifications
- You will provide leadership and consultative services to departments and services within the organization in achieving regulatory/accreditation compliance.
- You will coordinate and supervise accreditation surveys (e.g., TJC, CMS, TDH, DHHS, Medicaid, OSHA and DNV) for the facility.
- You will collaborate with clinicians and other staff in developing and implementing processes to comply with regulatory standards. No direct patient care functions are provided by this position.
- It is the responsibility of each employee to maximize the resources of the hospital.
- As a member of Medical City Dallas hospital team, you will make a significant contribution to the public’s perception of the hospital.
- You will perform all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient.
- You will perform additional tasks/activities as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 5 years healthcare experience required.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation standards and survey methodology, CMS regulations, other Federal and State regulations related to healthcare management, Leapfrog, IHI Initiative and other patient care related organizations.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or regulatory accreditation certification preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- RN with current Texas license required
- Bachelor's degree
