Job Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for general maintenance support for assigned buildings, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor facility conditions for safety and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot power, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry and plumbing.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
- Assist in moving office furniture and equipment as needed.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficient in using hand and electrical tools.
- Capable of making minor concrete repairs.
- Ability to operate man lifts (boom lift/scissor lift) with proper training.
Soft Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/smartphone).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
