Join Our Team as a Benefits Analyst! Location: Tulsa, OK
Are you an experienced Benefits Analyst ready to play a key role in supporting our HR Health & Welfare and Corporate Accounting departments? Our client is an oil and gas industry leader for over 100 years. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, Benefits Analyst to support an established and well organized benefits team.
Responsibilities:
- Actuarial Valuations: Prepare detailed cost analyses for medical, drug, and dental welfare plans, supporting actuarial valuations and annual cost reviews.
- Financial Reconciliation: Monthly reconciliation of corporate welfare benefit liability accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Cost Allocation: Allocate monthly welfare benefit costs for active and retiree populations across company business units.
- Plan Development: Collaborate on the development of COBRA, accounting accruals, and employee contribution rates for medical and dental plans.
- Budget Management: Take the lead in preparing the HR Services annual budget, working with divisions on chargeback allocation methods and monitoring monthly responsibility reports.
- Compliance Measures: Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance for the HR Services group, including process documentation and flow charts. Assist in testing as required.
- Government Filings: Prepare benefit-related government filings, including H&W Form 5500’s, and maintain Form 5500 software.
- Financial Analytics: Calculate, verify, and process invoices using PeopleSoft and Excel, generating invoices for self-billed programs.
- Special Projects: Oversee special accounting and HR projects as assigned.
