Our client, a leading food processing company, is seeking a Plant Scale Attendant to join their team. As a Plant Scale Attendant, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording all vats and tote bins of product received from QPP using an electronic scale for the purpose of obtaining information for production reporting, yield reporting, and transfers to other departments. The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5:00am to 3:00pm. Overtime is probable. Some weekend work is required. Flex time is not available. The position is located in Austin, MN and is not remote.

Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00/hr

What's the Job?

• Accurately weighs and records all vats and tote bins of product received from QPP using an electronic scale for the purpose of obtaining information for production reporting, yield reporting, and transfers to other departments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

What's Needed?

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately work with numbers and attention to detail required.
• Ability to learn plant-based computer applications (data collection and yields).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work on your feet and tolerate working in a 40° environment.
• Experience with personal computers, Windows, and Excel is preferred.
• Ability to identify pork cuts is desirable.
