UNIT SUMMARY: 

The Staffing Resource Pool is a designated supplemental staffing pool where staff will float across various units. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with activities in daily Living while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital is a 330-bed facility. Levindale's Geriatric Center includes 126 long-term care beds, 35 subacute care beds, 28 dementia care beds and 21-respiratory care beds. The Specialty Hospital at Levindale consists of a 40-high intensity care beds and an 80 behavioral health beds. • Households (Skilled Long Term Care) 
• Halls-Sub acute Care & Memory Care/ Skilled Long Term Care Units (Medical/Surgical) 
• Burks-Pulmonary Care & Respiratory Care (Long Term Care Trach and Long-Term Care Vent Units) 

• Behavioral Health-Acute- medical surgical with psych. 
• HICU-Vent/Pulmonary Care/Acute Rehab (TBI, Dialysis, Gtube, Trach, Vent, LVAD patients) 

REQUIREMENTS:

Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate. Less than one year experience required. Hoyer lift and specialty beds; Basic medical equipment (scale, thermometer, etc.); Communication devices; Synquest and basic computer skills. GNA licensure and CPR certification with American Heart Association(AHA) required. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
