Our National Security Sector is seeking a Web Developer to support an enterprise IT program. Our client requires support specializing in the development and maintenance of SharePoint websites and Access database tools. The successful candidate will be a SharePoint developer with CSS, HTML, Javascript, and Access experience.
Primary Responsibilities
The client’s business environment provides quality visualization and publishing services in support of corporate communication requirements for a community–wide client base. The client requires support specializing in the development and maintenance of SharePoint websites and Access database tools. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. This position requires polished skills in communication, planning, attention to detail, and execution while managing a moderate to heavy workload. Expected duties will include:
- Working independently to provide expert development and engineering support to clients in SharePoint and related tools and platforms.
- Developing custom SharePoint websites and complex database applications using ACCESS/VBA, managing the maintenance of new and existing websites, and interfacing directly with the client’s stakeholders as a technical subject matter expert and as part of ad-hoc, project oriented teams.
- Eliciting requirements for website development from the community–wide client base, documenting website requirements, developing/testing/deploying new websites, and managing the development of new websites.
- Working in an environment with in-house UI design capability to support full user experience product development, participating in biweekly team meetings to share project information and provide support to other projects as appropriate, and providing regular verbal and written status reports and submit written reports on significant deliverables to the client.
- Applying business acumen to provide cost effective solutions, monitor expenditures, and providing production data to contribute to a full cost recovery business model.
Basic Qualifications
- Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Typically requires BS degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Demonstrated experience in SharePoint site design and development.
- Demonstrated experience managing website projects and web development.
- Demonstrated experience with migrating SharePoint sites from previous SharePoint versions.
- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Designer, including complex 2010/2013 workflows.
- Demonstrated experience in automating administrative tasks in SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting database-driven websites.
- Demonstrated experience developing websites using SharePoint API, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Microsoft.NET.
- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Access integration and Access/VBA development outside of just macros.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving problems on legacy SharePoint sites.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing Joomla websites.
- Demonstrated experience designing and supporting Joomla Extension or Module creation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with client’s SharePoint server farms.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting WordPress websites.
- Demonstrated experience implementing complex visual styles via HTML5, or Bootstrap.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise Content Management Systems or Knowledge Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining user authentication methods.
- Demonstrated experience implementing accessibility features in web and interactive products.
- Demonstrated experience developing websites and applications meeting Section 508 standards.
- Demonstrated experience using PHP.

Pay Range:Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
