Description
The Engineering, Integration and Operations business area of Leidos has an opening for a TPS-75 SME/Liaison Technician. Working at a site or sites in southwest Asia, the appointed individual assigned to this role must possess the qualifications to install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair TPS-75 and associated equipment. Their responsibilities include providing guidance and assistance to active-duty personnel in maintaining TPS-75, ensuring they identify and address issues promptly. The designee oversees the restoration and maintenance of systems, correcting improper maintenance practices to ensure consistent operations.
If the customer transfers TPS-75 maintenance to the contractor, the designee takes on full 24/7 maintenance responsibility, assuming the roles of Site Lead and TPS-75 Lead Technician. In the case of contractor-required maintenance, the designee resolves installation, repair, and modification issues related to TPS-75 equipment. They employ line-of-sight and tropospheric scatter techniques, conduct tests for system restoration, and use drawings and diagrams to troubleshoot and position equipment correctly.
The designee analyzes equipment construction and operating characteristics to identify malfunctions, performs intricate alignment and calibration procedures for optimal efficiency, and ensures compliance with maintenance management publications and procedures. Safety standards for maintenance activities are enforced, and the designee checks components for compliance with technical publications. They maintain inspection and maintenance records, record meter readings, and complete data collection forms. Additionally, the designee handles the requisition, accountability, and turnover of necessary supplies and materials.
The designee shall advise on maintaining systems such as TPS-75 and UPX-3.

Basic Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an approved DoD C2 Equipment 7-level course or higher.
Experience:
Eight (8) years of recent and relevant TPS-75 experience working with systems identified in, Section
A, Tables 4.5.1 and 4.5.4. Documented experience managing TPS-75 equipment, technicians, maintenance programs, maintenance documentation, and working with logistics/supply chain personnel and agencies.

Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
