Leidos is seeking an Operations Lead for a large Defense Intelligence program chartered to support the Analysis Orchestration Services in providing governance, integration, deployment, and operations and sustainment of the current suite of services and future integrated capabilities. Our customer provides strategic intelligence, warfighter support, indications and warning, safety of navigation, foundation data, humanitarian and disaster relief, special event planning, and homeland defense.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Operations Lead will be primarily responsible for the following:
Lead and manage the operation of a 24/7/365 Tier II IT help desk that works with users to resolve their issues with using the AOS ASP suite of capabilities, products, and services.
Leads operations and maintenance effort for the AOS ASP suite of capabilities, products, and services.
Coordinates and performs software problem analysis, requirements analysis, design, modification, testing and adaption of application software.
Directs and manages resources responsible for the resolution of discrepancies and other required maintenance activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience.
Experience in leading team-tasks for modifying complex applications programs from specifications and Discrepancy Reports.
Experience drafting detailed application program coding specifications.
Experience working on all phases of applications programming activities, independent of supervisory guidance.
Experience in geospatial information system development or sustainment.
Security Clearance:
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in IT Operations Centers and leading/coordinating incident response/resolution efforts to IT systems and software application bugs/errors.
Knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services Cloud.
Experience with NGA security procedures, as well as mission applications.
Experience with working in agile software development methodology.
