Job Description1901 Group, a Leidos company, is looking for a self-motivated Pricing Analyst to support our business growth. In this role, you will leverage your strong background in Pricing as well as your excellent communication and organizational skills to support all aspects of proposal pricing activities. You will serve as liaison between Project Management, Business Development (Sales), Finance, Contracts, Engineering teams and other relevant functional areas to appropriately align the pricing strategy. A successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task, adhere to proposal schedules, and work well with multiple teams to complete cost/price models in an environment with competing priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:• Lead the timely development of Commercial and Government proposal pricing and price volume deliverables in accordance with technical, management, and cost specifications of a request for proposal (RFP).• Work closely with solution architects/ technical subject matter experts (SME), project managers, senior management, contracts, finance, and operations personnel to ensure all cost elements are captured and time-phased and unit priced in a compliant manner.• Identify proposal/RFP financial risks and opportunities and define specific Pricing Assumptions to be included in the price proposal.• Support the development of the Basis of Estimate (BOE) using LCAT based staffing plans for FFP and T&M bids.• Manage and coordinate non-labor cost estimates with internal technical and procurement teams.• Perform cost/price analyses, develop Excel-based models to evaluate different strategies and “what-if” and business case scenarios, and work independently to develop solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding of domain knowledge.• Model capital expenditures, facilities, licenses, labor, and other non-labor costs and develop unit-based pricing strategies and methods that support the delivery of outcome based fixed price managed services.• Develop and present cost proposal financial data for review by management to include PowerPoint slides and cash flows.• Provide ad hoc cost and performance analyses and support other special projects.
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor’s and 5-8 years of relevant experience in Pricing and Program Finance, or Master’s and 3-6 years of relevant experience in Pricing and Program Finance. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, while managing multiple priorities and tasks.• Excel/modeling skills including use of formulas and pivot tables.• Ability to quickly comprehend processes and learn systems / tools.• Effective interpersonal (written, verbal, and presentation) skills.• Ability to recognize characteristics of various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF).
Preferred Qualifications• Experience pricing Federal government procurement actions.• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.• Familiarity with different proposal (ROMs, NTEs, D/C, GSA Schedule, IDIQ, etc.) and contract (FFP, T&M, etc.) types.• Appreciation for presenting business cases with visuals.
Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
