The Leidos Digital Modernization (DM) Sector addresses complex technology-driven problems for government and highly regulated customers with our differentiated capabilities and Repeatable Offerings (RO). At the core of each RO is a proven combination of technology and approach packaged for select customizability to deliver superior speed, security, and scale.
The DM Sector utilizes a team construct to manage the RO life cycle spanning three (3) phases of 1) strategy and design, 2) build / test / launch, and 3) sales, operations, and sustainment. The lead member of this RO team is our Offerings Lead (OL).
Position Summary
As the lead member of the team, the OL is responsible for the overall success of specific ROs including growth-related activities to create path(s) to revenue by fostering interest in the ROs from existing Leidos programs (on contract growth), new captures, and new sales channels. The OL will work across Leidos Sectors and Corporate Functions to promote and secure sales, ensure RO-related corporate policy and regulatory compliance, champion efficient implementation/consumption, and advise with ongoing RO continual assessment and improvement.
In this role, the OL will work closely with assigned growth, marketing, finance and technology team members to connect with: i) Leidos Business Development (BD) and Technical Sales to drive RO sales and consumption, ii) Leidos Marketing & Communications to establish RO branding, iii) Leidos Legal and Finance for Intellectual Property (IP), export, and pricing considerations, iv) Leidos Corporate Strategy to inject sector-specific and enterprise market needs into the RO value proposition, v) Leidos Supply Chain to leverage existing agreements, and assist with administration of terms & conditions with end customers, channel partners, strategic partners, and suppliers, and vi) Leidos Office of Technology to incorporate technology innovations and benefits and outcomes of Leidos investments.
Primary Responsibilities•Lead a Repeatable Offering (RO) specific life-cycle and overall health and performance of the Repeatable Offerings•Lead the strategy and design phase consisting of technical, business, and go to market (GTM) aspects•Champion the build / test / launch phase activities•Lead the sales operations and sustainment phase activities •Champion internal promotion to drive On Contract Growth and New Capture sales•Champion external promotion supporting and leveraging Leidos Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)•Support related Technical Sales & Account Management activities•Support Marketing & Communications (MarCom) activities•Ensure Intellectual Property (IP), export control, and legal considerations•Manage continual feedback and RO feature definition set refinement•Manage RO sales pipeline, forecasting, and tracking how RO impacts margin and Probability to Win (PWin)•Participate and support sector and corporate strategy process lifecycle and strategy-to-action initiatives•Monitor technology markets for new or emerging market, technology, and/or partnering opportunities, as well as competitive landscape pertaining to Leidos offerings
Basic Qualifications•Technical Bachelor's degree and at least _15_ years of combined experience in Digital Modernization Engineering, Business Development, Project Management and/or Program Management, including _10_ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects•Proven track record of successful project or program design, development, and execution•Proven track record of public speaking, public writing and performing corporate communications•Experience developing and managing Technical Roadmaps and Service Catalogs•Experience and deep understanding of government contracting channel management practices and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sales and resale practices•Experience and deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) particularly relating to pricing, discounting, and other strategic capture requirements and activities•Experience with pricing services and products for Federal government customers•Experience with Government services BD/capture processes and proposal writing requirements and activities•Experience selling to and delivering for Federal government customers•Domestic and international travel as required, up to 25 – 50% per month•Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information, and reports and a customer relationship management to track opportunities•Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government clearance as needed
Pay Range:Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
