We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) to augment the current management team of the RSS Contract. The roles/responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) position are very broad and require a senior-level individual with extensive program/project management experience, working with executive-level management in Federal government agencies, building and leading multi-organizational teams that provide a range of classified and unclassified support services in response to existing and emerging mission needs, identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand and diversify the support services, and the ability to successfully balance the priorities of (1) NETL/NNSA; (2) Leidos as the Prime Contractor; and (3) individual Subcontract members of the Leidos-led Team.
Location: This is a full-time contractor-support position, with a primary duty station in the Albuquerque, NM or Washington, DC area. Only candidates in (or willing to relocate to) the Albuquerque, NM or Washington, DC area will be considered, as this position will be based at the customer sites in those areas. Telework up to 50% possible.
Travel: Approximately 25% travel required for in-person meetings in Albuquerque, NM, Washington, DC, Pittsburgh, PA, and Morgantown, WV. Periodic travel to other Federal government sites will be required.

Our Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) will report to the Leidos NNSA Project Manager. As a core member of the Leidos Management Team, the Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) will collaborate with RSS Managers and support interactions with NNSA leaders to successfully build trusted relationships with a very broad set of organizations, Executive/Senior-level management and staff, including: (1) NNSA Leadership and Federal Program Managers; (2) NETL Executive Leadership and Contracting Officer; (3) RSS Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager; (4) management/staff of the Leidos/Subcontractor Teams supporting NNSA; and (5) Leidos-RSS staff integral to the successful management and growth of this support. The Leidos-RSS staff includes the RSS Business Office and Project Controller(s), Leidos Subcontract Administrators, RSS Travel (supporting Domestic and International travel), and Facility Security Officers (FSOs).
The Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) is responsible to support the PM in the day-to-day management of NNSA support, proactively communicating with the clients, managing subcontractors and Leidos RSS management and support staff. The Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) is also responsible for working with the Leidos/Subcontractor Team to positively respond to NNSA requests for additional expertise/technical support when needed. A key role is the identification of skill sets needed to address NNSA mission needs. Where current capabilities and personnel are not available through Leidos and their research support team, the Senior Project Manager (NNSA support) will provide support for recruiting new staff in coordination with Leidos Talent Acquisition.
