The National Security Sector (NSS) is hiring for a Senior Foreign Disclosure Analyst to support the Defense Combating Terrorism Office for an Intelligence agency. The Foreign Disclosure Analyst will have experience and knowledge of US disclosure policies and guidance for the Agency, specialized international program security expertise, and coordinating and making disclosure decisions within those parameters. This Key Personnel opportunity is in anticipation of an upcoming contract award!
What you’ll be doing:
Serve as a senior-level advisor in support of a client's disclosures program.
Assist in processing all requests for disclosure of information to partners and reviewing various products for release.
Process Requests for Information (RFI) from foreign governments and international organizations and may obtain security clearance information and verify foreign national status prior to release of classified material, and ensure all classified material is passed appropriately.
Maintain a permanent electronic database of all decisions concerning disclosure, release or denial of intelligence to foreign nationals.
Submit products for publication, disseminate products via email, and disseminate warning products.
Prepare and process intelligence source review and foreign disclosure requests and proposes recommendations to the Government per U.S. disclosure and release policies and guidance.
Review various products for accurate security classification and potential release, ensuring all sources have been identified and appropriate security classification markings are applied.
Identify information included in the product that is not substantiated by the cited sources.
Verify that all cited sources with all required information are in the source packet with the extracted information highlighted. If a source packet is incomplete, return the source packet to the author for updating or research the source and copy and paste it into the source packet if time allows.
Maintain record archives of disclosure requests and adjudications and responds to requests for data.
Propose disclosures or releases of information after technical and substantive reviews of information.
Advise on foreign disclosure policy and procedures in accordance with the Foreign Disclosure program.
Track and maintain records for decisions concerning disclosure.
Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in IC and DoD policies and procedures for determining the releasability of classified information.
Ensure that all sources are cited in accordance with Sponsors guide or other agency standards.
Verify that the classification authority block in the first-page footer is complete and correct.
Validate that in-text source characterizations have a corresponding source citation and vice versa unless sanitization is required for foreign disclosure.
Prepare responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
Demonstrate ability to explain and apply information adhering to guidance/directives, to include the latest classification guidance.
What does Leidos need from me?
Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
Bachelor's degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant foreign disclosure experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
