The Associate Physical Security Coordinator is an entry level position that will support the “front of house” access control and front-line security posture of the HQ. This will be a fast paced, customer facing, and high visibility environment working as part of the Workplace Security Team and will be based in Reston, VA.
Position Summary
This position will support the Badge Office Team as well as provide support to several other functions supporting access control for the corporation. Primary duties will include Access Control Administration, Visitor Management Administration, troubleshooting and supporting repairs of automated access management and intrusion detection/monitoring systems. These enterprise systems span across the continental US and are dedicated to protecting corporate assets.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with a team mentality. Customer service, attention to detail and technical troubleshooting skills are all critical for this position.
Normal duty hours will take place during normal daytime business hours, but infrequent after hours and weekend support may be required.
Primary Responsibilities-Badge Office Administration support of enterprise level access control systems to include:oThe production and issuance of corporate ID/access cards and for provisioning/de-provisioning accesses as appropriate.oHandling special badging projects, reports and audits to ensure a secure and efficient badging process.oProgramming, issuance and tracking of parking transpondersoSupports programming and testing of hardware configurations for access control -Visitor Management Administration support to include:oSupporting the Visitor Management System and be a POC for GHQ and the EnterpriseoProvisioning/de-provisioning accesses as appropriateoRun Reports, troubleshoot issues, perform updates and support system growth-Perform Physical Security validation checks for GHQ and Annex Facilities-Utilization of ServiceNow to execute service tickets across multiple systems-Ensures employees are granted access to the proper parts of the building, to include issuance of temp badges and VIP badges. -Performs audits of access lists and supports security investigations.-Support and maintenance of a multi-site CCTV system- Obtaining quotes from vendors for services and inventories-Responsible for ensuring compliance with Access Control procedures while providing a welcoming atmosphere for Leidos guests.-Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
-High School and 2 - 4 years of related experience-Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision-Technical and problem solving skills-Excellent customer Service skills-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a step ladder.
-Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications-Active TS Security Clearance-Badge Office Administration-Familiarity with Access Control Systems and Hardware-Familiarity with Visitor Management Systems-Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing systems
