Our Creative Video Team seeks a full-time Video Producer at its Reston VA location to complete our phenomenal team. This position allows for partial remote work.
What You’ll Do•As part of our Marketing and Communications Department, you’ll help craft compelling video content that seizes the eyeballs while telling our story. •Alongside our team of ‘motion media’ professionals, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects supporting marketing, executive and enterprise communication, advertising, social media, and trade shows. •A host of creative software and tools will be at your disposal: Adobe Creative Cloud, multiple plugins, motorized sliders, dolly tracks, gimbals, and professional-level cameras.•Recent examples from our team: https://f.io/4BfSMwMJ
What You Are•You’re a motivated creative storyteller with professional-level camera, editing and motion graphics skills. •You should be able to take the seed of a video idea and follow it through to completion. •You easily understand and use concepts like 3-point lighting, depth-of-field, motion blur, rule of thirds, compositing, adjustment layers, Bezier handles, etc•Strong project management, multi-tasking skills, good communication and a keen eye for detail are musts. •Friendly, helpful, courteous, professional•Able to accomplish projects independently, without direct oversight.•Aware of current industry trends & styles•Proficiency in other aspects of video production (scriptwriting, videography, teleprompter, audio, lighting, 3D, VFX) strongly appreciated.
Required Qualifications•A portfolio/demo reel•Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (or relevant experience)•5+ years of experience in Video Production•Skilled in editing and motion graphics (preferably Adobe Premiere & After Effects, but open to other platforms)•Skilled with professional-grade cameras (e.g., Sony FX3/FS7, Blackmagic)•Skilled with lighting, particularly for interview and studio/greenscreen scenarios•Good design sense•Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.
Leidos LifeThis position allows for some flexibility to work from home, and reasonable flexibility in working hours. When not working remotely, you’ll work out of our beautiful Reston office, with in-house cafeteria, free soda, pool table, classic video game room, and a balcony with gorgeous views of the surrounding area.
Location: Reston, VA, United StatesTravel: May be required; ~ 20%Compensation: Position is salaried.

Pay Range:Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
